Email support@wrenchnote.app. If it's about a purchase, include your Support ID (Settings → Plan → Support ID; tap it to copy). Please don't send VINs, plates or policy numbers unless we ask.
Moving to a new phone
On your old phone: Settings → Backup & restore → Back up now, and save the file to Google Drive (or anywhere you can reach from the new phone). On the new phone: install WrenchNote, then Settings → Backup & restore → Restore from a backup and pick that file. A phone-to-phone transfer during Android setup also brings WrenchNote's records and receipt photos.
Is my data backed up automatically?
If Android's backup is on (your phone's Settings → Google → Backup), it covers your records. Receipt photos aren't included. They're in the backup files you make with Back up now. WrenchNote reminds you on the Backup row if you have receipt photos and no recent backup file.
I bought Lifetime. How do I get it on another phone?
Sign in to the same Google Play account, open WrenchNote → Settings → Plan, and tap Restore purchase. Lifetime is a one-time purchase; there's no subscription to cancel.
What does Lifetime include?
Up to 5 vehicles (Free covers 2) and every tracked maintenance item, including every item added later. It's an offline purchase: your data stays on your phone.
Receipts
Log service → Scan a receipt. The scanner finds the receipt's edges and straightens it, then the app fills in what it can read and marks those fields. Check them, and tap a marked field to fix it. A record with its receipt shows as Verified. If the scanner doesn't open, use "Use the camera instead" and fit the receipt inside the frame.
A recall says it "may apply." Does it?
Recalls are matched by year, make and model, and recalls cover specific VINs. Tap Check with your VIN: WrenchNote copies your VIN and opens NHTSA's lookup. Paste it there. Then mark the recall Completed or "Doesn't apply to my VIN".
Reminders don't show up
Settings → Reminders → Notifications must be On. Some phones also stop notifications for apps they "optimize," so allow WrenchNote in your phone's battery settings.
